Practitioner Mentorship
A new mentorship will begin in the fall of 2024. The schedule is TBD but will likely consist of quarterly deep-dive workshops and 2x monthly online meetings. Please email DrAmy@tendingbodyandsoul.com with questions and to express interest. You can also fill out the application below.
This intensive in-person program will guide you in deepening your own spiritual practice to become a beacon of light and learn specific skills to offer spiritual healing to others.
This small group meets regularly over the course of 18 months to dive deeply into the practice of shamanism and sacred empowerment as a way of life and as a method for healing. We begin with developing and deepening into an intimate relationship with the great earth and all nature beings, as well as our personal helping spirits and each other. We continue into learning skills to be used in the service of others and the earth herself.

The first part of the program is focused on evolving your personal spiritual path, developing trust in your inner knowing and close relationships with your helping spirits. Learn skills and insight into living a life of truth, humility and respect.
The second part of the program is learning the skills to bring these profound methods to others. We will work with death and dying and learn how to work with others in power retrievals, energy clearings, ceremony, and soul retrieval.

Having a deeper understanding of what it means to work with spirit and allow spirit to work through me, I think that I am more able to let my ego get out of the way and when I can do that I empower the people around me to grow and heal according to their journey and needs rather than putting my expectations on them. Each day since the soul retrieval, I feel there are small little openings occurring in my day to day life where I have more clarity and also a natural inclination to expand that was not there prior to the retrieval work. The feeling of " a new me" is not coming from my imagination, it's like a strong voice that drives from my intuition/heart-space that infuses more confidence/wisdom but really it feels more like peace. There is of course always more work ahead but I can relax a bit more as I see the progress and the eventual freedom/peacefulness that brings. -L.H.
We will meet monthly, forming a strong community and keeping momentum in our spiritual work together. Because this will be a small group, there will be time for each individual’s unique presence and process.

Outline for the program:
We will meet monthly. Our meetings will alternate between 1 day workshops and 2-3 day in-person ceremonies on the land. The next program may change format.
We begin with an initiatory ceremonial workshop designed to deepen you into your personal shamanic practice where you will open the doors to your soul and expand your consciousness to inhabit the unseen realms. This is where you create your inner landscape and step into your spiritual power, and miracles begin to happen.
We will then explore our connection and sense of belonging to the animate world. Connecting with the spirits of nature and the elements, working with light. We journey to our helping spirits and develop deep relationships with our transpersonal guides.
Then we move into time for personal growth and healing, preparing ourselves to hold space for others. We work with energetic boundaries, energetic hygiene, shadow work, and personal sovereignty.
After this we look at what it means to answer the call from spirit: how to let the sacred move through you. This is where we explore the idea of initiation, dismemberment and surrender.
Then we will be ready to learn the skills of a shamanic practitioner: soul retrieval, extraction, power retrieval, and ceremony. We will work with death and dying and meet our ancestors, bringing healing through our lines.
Finally we will delve into doing our unique soul work, enlivening the image at the center of your soul, finding daily practices and how to make our way of life with spirit.

October 1-2, 2022: (East Winds Farm) Opening Ceremony. Engaging the Helping Spirits. Medicine Wheel.
November 5th: (Opening to Life studio) Introduction to sacred ceremony and transfiguration. Working with Intention.
December 3-4th: (East Winds Farm & Oak Grove) Healing with Spiritual Light. Medicine for the Earth. Connecting with the Elements.
January 7, 2023: (zoom). Shadow. Psychic boundaries and energetic hygiene.
February 11th - 12th: (Oak Grove & East Winds Farm) Ancestor work.
March 5: (Oak Grove, 10-5) Deeper work with helping spirits: Merging, Intention. Dismemberment. Working in service to others.
April 15 -16: (Oak Grove, 10-5) Explore doing spiritual work on behalf of others, how to be a hollow bone . Divination. Power retrieval.
May 6: (Oak Grove 10-5) Extraction/energy clearing. Introduction to Soul retrieval.
June 9-11: (East Winds Farm) Soul retrieval.
August 11-13 (camping): Life after healing. Ceremony. Practice.
September 9: (East Winds Farm) Soul Remembering. Working with the image at the center of your soul.
October 14-15: (East Winds Farm) Death & dying. Psychopomp.
November 11: (Oak Grove) . Ancestral Healing.
December 2-3: (Oak Grove) Practice healings with previous students. Parts work and spiritual counseling .
January 13, 2024: (Oak Grove) : Continue parts work and spiritual counseling.
February 3-4, 2024: (Oak Grove): Developing your unique approach. Understanding your unique role as spiritual practitioner/ healer. Practice.
March 9: (East Winds Farm) Pulling it all together.
April 13-14, 2024: (East Winds Farm) Practice. Ending Ceremony.

Policies
Cancellation Policy
We ask for a $299 deposit before the start of classes. This can be used toward your full payment or the first month’s payment plan.
We know that schedules can change and cancellations are sometimes necessary. Tuition will be refunded less a $50 processing fee.
Because I am limiting this group to 6 participants, each individual is very important and if you cannot attend, please give as much notice as possible so that others on the waiting list have the chance to join.
All cancellations must be in writing.
Make-ups
If, during the apprenticeship, you have an emergency or illness causing you to miss one of the weekends, you are still responsible for any ongoing tuition payments as scheduled, and you may participate in the other program elements. To make-up your weekend, you have 2 options: Either your tuition will go towards a future apprentice program which you will sit in on for just that weekend. Or you can do a 1:1 make-up with Amy for an extra fee of $205. You are only allowed one make-up per apprenticeship series, to keep the integrity of our circle.
Payment Plan Policy
We will keep your card on file to be billed automatically for the payment plan.
No refunds will be given for workshops already completed.
If Amy Kelchner cancels the apprenticeship at any time due to emergency you will be refunded for any workshops that have not been completed.
If you are displeased with the apprenticeship for any reason, you are to seek private council with Amy first, to lovingly discuss the issue and next steps.
