Spiritual Leadership Training
The Circle of the Wild Heart is a two-year journey that weaves mindfulness, heart-centered awareness, earth-based spirituality, and shamanic practice into a coherent path of belonging, healing, and service. The program supports participants in moving from personal becoming into embodied, heart-led contribution in the world.
We teach a cross-cultural practice of direct revelation and earth honoring that gives people non-drug tools to access non-ordinary reality, deep healing, and profound soul awakening. This is a transpersonal approach to healing that blends tools and techniques of mindfulness practice, contemporary shamanism, energy healing, parts work, somatic bodywork, herbal medicine, and a deep connection to the earth and the spirit in all things. These powerful earth-based visionary healing practices derive from universal principles and personal experience. It does not follow any specific indigenous tradition or appropriate language or ceremony from others. This intensive program will guide you in deepening your own spiritual practice and visionary abilities in order to hold sacred space for others and offer healing, wholeness, connection, and deep empowerment.
A new 2-year training will begin in the spring of 2026. Please fill out the application below to express interest.
Year 1: The Path of Becoming
This small group meets monthly on the land to dive deeply into the practices of mindfulness meditation, earth honoring and direct revelation as a way of life. We will develop and deepen into an intimate relationship with the great earth and all nature beings, as well as our personal helping spirits and each other. We will learn mindfulness, heart coherence, somatic and emotional intelligence, belonging and trust.
Year 2: Roots to Radiance
Designed as a continuation of year 1, for those who feel called to bring these powerful practices to others.
From past participants:
“I’ve gained so much wonderful wisdom and knowledge, and it helped me to feel comfortable in my body and made my everyday life a bit easier. It opened up this whole wide world that I never knew that existed before. I’m so excited to discover more and more.” -CS
“Dr. Amy brought light and love, heart and soul to each and every class. I always felt safe and that my needs were met. When I was having a difficult time, it was accepted without judgement or expectation but rather with an openness and the invitation to explore what was actually going on. I always ended the day with some clarity, resolution and feeling better. “ -SS
The first part of the program is focused on evolving your personal spiritual path, developing trust in your inner knowing and close relationships with your helping spirits. Learn skills and insight into living a life of truth, humility and respect.
The second part of the program is learning the skills to bring these profound methods to others. We will work with death and dying and learn how to work with others in power retrievals, energy clearings, ceremony, and soul retrieval.
From past participants:
Having a deeper understanding of what it means to work with spirit and allow spirit to work through me, I think that I am more able to let my ego get out of the way and when I can do that I empower the people around me to grow and heal according to their journey and needs rather than putting my expectations on them. And the other side of that is the understanding that everyone is responsible for their own journey, I am not responsible for anyone’s journey but my own. -CZ
Each day since the soul retrieval, I feel there are small little openings occurring in my day to day life where I have more clarity and also a natural inclination to expand that was not there prior to the retrieval work. The feeling of " a new me" is not coming from my imagination, it's like a strong voice that drives from my intuition/heart-space that infuses more confidence/wisdom but really it feels more like peace. There is of course always more work ahead but I can relax a bit more as I see the progress and the eventual freedom/peacefulness that brings. -L.H.
This is a small group program where we will form a strong community and have space for each individual’s unique presence and process.
“Amy is a skilled practitioner and teacher. She holds a container for individuals and the group that allows for deep learning and healing. She respects and is aware of the process of each student’s journey. Her giftedness allows her to challenge her students to open, grow, heal, and form meaningful relationships. Having a small group was such a gift for me to have support and connection in this practice. I am grateful for having had this opportunity to work with Amy and these amazing women. “ JM
Outline for the Path of Becoming:
We will meet monthly for a full Saturday on the land with a summer overnight camping trip . Exact schedule TBD.
Part 1: Cultivating your connection to Spirit.
We begin with an initiatory ceremonial workshop designed to deepen you into your personal shamanic practice where you will open the doors to your soul and expand your consciousness to inhabit the unseen realms. This is where you find yourself belonging to the animate world and cultivate your inner landscape through journeywork and sacred reciprocity. We will look within and work with shadow and energetic boundaries, and explore the ethics of spiritual power and personal sovereignty. We will work with integrating and releasing our ego story so we can fully inhabit the spirit realms.
Part 2: Becoming sacred space, cultivating emptiness.
We move into releasing attachments and allowing spirit to move through us so that we can be of service to others in sacred space. We will explore spiritual causes of illness and imbalance. We will explore the realms of death & dying and learn skills to guide and psychopomp souls. We will work with connecting to and offering healing for our ancestral lines.
Outline for Roots to Radiance
This program will consist of quarterly retreats where we will dive deeply into practices in service to others. Trauma-informed and respectful, these practices will include spiritual counseling, grounded presence, energy movement, parts work and shadow work, energy clearing, psychopomp, and soul retrieval.
Who is this for?
This training is especially designed for healing practitioners and visionary changemakers who want to deepen their connection to spirit and bring these advanced healing practices to others. It is best for people already on a spiritual path who are looking for language, structure, and community. This is not a course for personal healing, although personal healing certainly occurs as needed to support others on their journey. A history of personal growth work and some kind of spiritual practice are required. Basic journey skills can be learned before the start of class.
