Tending the Sacred:

Rewilding the Heart

From deep practice to conscious service: walking the path of the wild heart.

Spiritual Leadership Training

From inner transformation to embodied leadership:

A two-year training for healers, facilitators, and committed seekers.

“The heart that breaks open can contain the whole universe.”  -Joanna Macy

Our authentic self is an expression of love. As we awaken we know this, but it can be a challenge to function in the world that way. How do we open our hearts and then keep them open? How can we remain grounded as everything shifts and show up as love in the world?

Rewilding is the return to our natural state of being where our hearts and minds work cohesively together, in sync with the rhythms of the earth, and in collaboration with our communities and loved ones.  In this path of becoming who we truly are, we tune our consciousness to the frequency of love, service and restoration.

Welcome to the circle.

A new cohort begins on May 30th, 2026

Tending the Sacred program: Zoom intro meeting 3/18/26

This program is designed as professional development for people whose work supports growth, healing, and transformation (and people with intention to do this kind of work). Participants include healers, facilitators, seekers, and spiritual leaders who want to deepen their spiritual grounding and visionary capacity, strengthen ethical practice, and cultivate the presence needed to hold meaningful healing work.

Our approach to spiritual leadership is transpersonal and experiential, blending mindfulness with earth-honoring spiritual practices. Rooted in present-moment awareness, the foundation of the training rests on practices that cultivate relationship with the living Earth and engenders deep belonging and inner peace. Through ceremony, visionary journey work, deep presence, and somatic awareness, these methods offer drug-free ways to access non-ordinary states of consciousness, support deep healing, and awaken a lived sense of connection with spirit, community, and the natural world.

The program weaves together contemporary shamanic practices in the lineage of Sandra Ingerman, mindfulness practices rooted in MBSR, and non-dual teachings inspired by Adyashanti, offering a foundation that integrates direct spiritual experience with ethical, culturally grounded practice. Drawing on decades of experience guiding spiritual and healing work, the facilitators bring both personal insight and professional expertise to the training. Throughout, we remain transparent about the origins of this work and committed to cultural integrity, honoring the Indigenous traditions that inspire aspects of these practices while not claiming authority within them.

Year One:  The Path of Becoming

  • We will meet monthly for a full Saturday and a few half-days on Sundays on the land with a summer overnight camping trip .  Exact schedule TBD.

  • We begin with an initiatory ceremonial workshop where you will open the doors to your soul and expand your consciousness to safely navigate the wisdom of the unseen realms.  These practices help the participant to deepen their sense of trust and clarity, both in ordinary and non-ordinary states of consciousness.

  • At each meet up, we will learn key mindfulness skills that complement shamanic work and assist us with navigating the inner and outer world. We will build these skills slowly over time and experience a mindfulness retreat.

  • We will cultivate skills that support the discovery of our belonging to the animate world, strengthening the inner landscape through journeywork and sacred reciprocity.

  • We will look within and work with shadow and energetic boundaries, exploring the ethics of spiritual power and  personal sovereignty.  We will work with integrating and releasing our egoic story so we can fully inhabit the spirit realms.

Year Two: Roots to Radiance

  • Building from the foundations of Year One, this training is for those who feel called to work as a spiritual leader and practitioner with deep compassion and clarity. This year is an optional professional integration and Spiritual Leadership Practicum. This program will revolve around quarterly retreats.

  • This certificate program teaches the skills to bring profound healing modalities to others, both individually and in groups.  We will work with themes of death and dying, sacred ceremony, and ancestral healing, as well as how to work with others in power retrievals, biofield energy clearings, and soul reclaiming.

  • We will explore ethics of spiritual practice and trauma-informed presence, and learn to hold space for transformational healing to unfold.

  • This is a small group program where we will continue as a strong community and have space for each individual’s unique presence and process.

Who is this for?

This training is particularly suited for those called to facilitate transformation for others. These are healing professionals, therapists, bodyworkers, spiritual directors, and psychedelic facilitators who wish to deepen their spiritual ground and ethical presence. It is equally open to sincere seekers committed to disciplined personal practice. It is ideal for those who desire a solid framework for their personal transformation, one that integrates the mind-body-heart, and empowers one to truly thrive and lead change in a rapidly shifting world.

It is highly recommended that participants are already on a spiritual path and are committed to their personal growth.  The training will best serve you if you are willing to develop a regular practice of your own design.  Whether you are an introvert, extrovert, or a delightful combination, this training will gently support the development of a loving community, full of joyful, authentic connection.

We are cultivating a small, devoted cohort.
This is not a workshop series, but a year of steady practice, community, and transformation. Those who enter are willing to practice steadily, grow within community, and walk with integrity.

We are honored to guide the Path of Becoming with heart, discernment, and decades of experience in integrative clinical care and community spiritual leadership. Our work is trauma-informed and interdisciplinary, bridging medicine, mindfulness, anthropology, and ceremonial practice in service of those who wish to serve others.

Amy Kelchner, ND, brings over three decades of experience to her healing arts practice.  She is a bodyworker, naturopathic physician, intuitive counselor and psychedelic facilitator.  Analouise Williams, PhD, an anthropologist, has worked for twenty years as a shamanic practitioner and teacher, serving as an elder in her community. Laura Hysen brings a decade of experience offering community spiritual care, grounded in her work as a mindfulness facilitator, land steward, and veterinary pharmacist.

Together, we steward an ethical, vibrant space where participants  can deepen their own practice, tend their inner lives, and reconnect with the living earth that sustains their work.

Program Leaders

Nestled on private land outside of Corbett, Oregon, this sacred space holds and supports us in our earth-honoring work. Surrounded by towering trees, open skies, and the quiet presence of the land, it offers a gentle invitation to slow, breathe, and reconnect—to the earth, to each other, and to the deeper currents of our own practice.

The Land

Testimonials from past participants:

“The most meaningful part of this course is the message I got over and over to trust myself, my guides, and the universe. Until now, I have felt alone with gifts I didn’t understand or use with any direction or focus. I wish it didn’t have to end, so life changing!” - SX

“My recent shamanic training with Amy and Analouise was a truly magical, mystical, and transformative journey of the soul. Throughout the program, I was guided with great wisdom and compassion into the realms of spirit, learning to journey with my helping spirits, to offer soul and power retrievals, to practice divination, and to serve as a psychopomp, helping departed souls cross over in peace. Throughout the training, I experienced an ever-deepening connection with the land, the elements, and the four directions. Each practice became a prayer to Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, and a reminder of the living spirit within all of nature. I felt the ancestors and the spirits of the land surrounding and supporting us, teaching us to walk with reverence, humility, and gratitude. Amy and Analouise held a profoundly sacred and loving container, creating space for both healing and rebirth. Equally powerful was the circle of incredible women who shared this journey with me. Together, we sang, grieved, laughed, grew, and held one another in the most beautiful and supportive way. The sense of community and sisterhood that emerged will stay with me always. I leave this training feeling rooted, open-hearted, and deeply aligned with Spirit and the natural world. I carry new tools, ancient teachings, and a renewed sense of purpose — to walk in harmony with all that is seen and unseen. With endless gratitude to Amy, Analouise, and every sister in this circle, for helping me remember who I am and my place within the great web of life.” -KL

“Amy and Laura brought light and love, heart and soul to each and every class.  I always felt safe and that my needs were met.  When I was having a difficult time, it was accepted without judgement or expectation but rather with an openness and the invitation to explore what was actually going on.  I always ended the day with some clarity, resolution and feeling better. “  -SS

Having a deeper understanding of what it means to work with spirit and allow spirit to work through me, I think that I am more able to let my ego get out of the way and when I can do that I empower the people around me to grow and heal according to their journey and needs rather than putting my expectations on them.  And the other side of that is the understanding that everyone is responsible for their own journey, I am not responsible for anyone’s journey but my own. -CZ

“Amy is a skilled practitioner and teacher. She holds a container for individuals and the group that allowsfor deep learning and healing. She respects and is aware of the process of each student’s journey. Her giftedness allows her to challenge her students to open, grow, heal, and form meaningfulrelationships. Having a small group was such a gift for me to have support and connection in thispractice. I am grateful for having had this opportunity to work with Amy and these amazing women. “ JM
